What an extrememly busy April it has been for all in our co-housing family. We (The Hackworthy’s) have finally relocated to Sheffield. The weather has spoilt us until the last few days, showing the true Sheffield experience.
On site so much has happened. We had a great Easter weekend with Annie and Hannah paying us a visit, lifting heavy stones and proving how muscley they are! I am pretty unsure about the technical terms in relation to what’s been acheieved so I will endeavour to show you all through photos.
Luckily ‘The Boss’ was on site and the other children enjoyed the rubble as well as filling the trench outside the caravan.
The lean-to next to The Long Barn was demolished
This is where the muscles got involved.
The Byre has been transformed and is now looking like a liviable space (not looking at the roof)!
Loads of wall and step building, where my input has been key (ask Dean).
A huge amount has been done digging trenches for the drainage. The holes are now all covered over (just about) so it is easier to get round the site safely. The plan continues to come together. This May bank holiday weekend will see even more action so stay tuned.
